   You would have to be blind, deaf, without any form of respectable taste in music and to have not heard any of Sempiternal, to try and deny Bring Me The Horizon their very deserved victory and success. 
   Almost from the moment this revolutionary band was formed, they have divided people and opinions more than Marmite could ever dream too achieve. But that division ends here. It ends right now, with the release of the untouchable Sempiternal. 
   The diversity of sounds on the album is astounding. There are slower, clean sung tracks like the breathtaking opener "Can You Feel My Heart" and the equally impressive "And The Snakes Start To Sing". The deep rooted Metal-core strains are still present on Sempiternal and infact the scull battering heaviness on "The House Of Wolves" and the Linkin Park reminiscent "Empire (Let Them Sing)", is sure to be enough to earn the songs a spot on the bands already swollen list of live favorites. 
   The diverse nature of the album has the result of giving every song a completely independent and unique sound. Bring Me The Horizon's previous releases all contained technical and electronic backing, but nothing like this. The incredible atmosphere and sound-scapes created by the electronics, gives songs like the unsurpassed "Shadow Moses", an addictive and completely encapsulating sound.   
   For those who have been fans of the band since the start, fear not, the tradition of having dinosaur sized anthems has remained. In fact the latest addition to the family of monolithic, lung collapsing anthems, is possibly the greatest yet. "Antivist" contains city leveling riffs and a chorus you can't help screaming along too, that is also guaranteed to get you thrown out of church. 
   Anyone who can listen to Sempiternal and then genuinely declare that it is rubbish, or that Bring Me The Horizon don't deserve their success, clearly either haven't been paying any attention or are lying through their teeth while try to resist moshing to the songs like a cat being electrocuted. So if your already a fan of the band that is leading the rising British Metal scene, or if you've been try to belittle the band as they continue to rise in success, without actually giving them a chance, then give it a go. Sempiternal is only going to change minds and attitudes for the better.

  BEAST IN BLACK:  DARK CONNECTION     Bombastic, heavy, wild and fun, Dark Connection is everything that any obliging listener can expect to hear from Finnish whippersnappers Beast In Black.      Saturated with synths, electronics and plenty of twiddling guitars, the album has a very European (or more specifically Scandinavian) Pop vibe, more prevalent here than on Beast In Black's previous efforts.
