Cannibal Corpse: Dead Human Collection

Cannibal Corpse: Dead Human Collection

Do you like Cannibal Corpse? Of course you do. Do you like box sets stuffed full of gore-tastic extras? Of course you do? Do you like your special edition, bonus box sets at a very reasonable price? Of course you do. So it seems that Cannibal Corpse's Dead Human Collection has ticked all the boxes so far, but before you go running down to your local record shop to pre-order it, why don't we crack open the chest and take a look inside.
The obvious thing your going to be searching for in this vault of festering Death Metal is of course, the Death Metal. Well have no fear, the Dead Human Collection contains far more Death Metal than can possibly be good for you. In fact this gold mine, or maybe more appropriately, this "gore" mine contains all 12 Cannibal Corpse studio albums and a live album. I think its fair to say, this box set is packed full of chugging riffs and guttural gruesome growls. So whether your a fan of Chris Barnes era Cannibal Corpse or the equally savage George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher albums, you will not be disappointed. With everything from the timeless debut, "Eaten Back To Life" all the way up to their magnum opus, "Kill" and beyond to the most recent skull crushing release, "Torture".
So what about those extras? Well the Dead Human Collection is bursting with them! The CD's themselves are stored in a 4 panel fold out case with an exclusive art work of its own! Forget about having to make room in your existing CD collection, this fold out case will save on the space the 12 albums would take individually. What else I hear you ask? well if you were sobbing at the thought of not being able to admire Cannibal Corpse's album artwork because of the fold case, then dry those eyes! The Dead Human Collection contains professional 12" X 12" prints of the 12 studio album and the 1 live album cover artworks. So if you love classic artworks such as the cover of the 1992, "Tomb Of The Mutilated" or the 1999 "Bloodthirst", then this is the box set for you. But wait, there's more! How about your very own Cannibal Corpse calender, with 12 months of sufficiently sickening and sinister pictures. Satisfied that this is one of the most awesome collections ever? If not, how about a picture disc vinyl copy of "Torturing and Eviscerating Live". If you still not satisfied then you obviously don't like Calenders or Cannibal Corpse.
The Dead Human Collection is a great set that belongs in any Metal heads collection. The collection not only means you can throw away your current dolphins calender, and instead have gratuitous, gruesome Cannibal Corpse artwork adorning your walls, but it also leaves you with a compulsory challenge. Will you be able to listen to all 12 studio albums in succession and live? Or will it result in leaving you as nothing more than a mercilessly grinded corpse?

BEAST IN BLACK: DARK CONNECTION

BEAST IN BLACK:  DARK CONNECTION     Bombastic, heavy, wild and fun, Dark Connection is everything that any obliging listener can expect to hear from Finnish whippersnappers Beast In Black.      Saturated with synths, electronics and plenty of twiddling guitars, the album has a very European (or more specifically Scandinavian) Pop vibe, more prevalent here than on Beast In Black's previous efforts. That said, there is no shortage of cracking riffs, slamming drums and impressive vocals.     Kicking off in dramatic fashion, " Blade Runner " offers up an seizure inducing blur of riffs and crazed keys. Sounding like a disco injected Judas Priest, " Bella Donna " is bizzare yet undeniably infectious and catchy. With a great sing-along chorus, crunchy Metallic riffs and an abundance of synths and keys, " Highway To Mars " is another groovy staple. Offering a little more heaviness, " Hardcore " pounds and thunders along like a softer Sabaton, befo

No Nonsense Metal: Top 10 Albums Of 2013!

No Nonsense Metal  Top 10 Albums Of 2013!    2013 has proven to be a monumental year for extreme music. We have witnessed the return of some of the greatest pioneering acts Metal music has ever seen, as well as a succession of future legends solidifying their place within our realms. It is fair to say that 2013 holds some of the best Metal releases of all time, but within it also resides some of the most spectacular misfires ever to insult mortal eardrums. Focusing on the positive aspects of the years releases, here is a round up of 10 albums that 2013 shall truly be remembered for. Undoubtedly, this list of albums will (and should) be fairly predictable, reminding you of the incredible strides extreme music has made within the last year. However, it should also highlight just how much can change within a 365 day stretch, and just how much Metal music can terraform within that time. So lets hope 2014 lives up to the achievements of 2013. Bring on the brutality!  10- MEGADETH:

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL JUST GOT BETTER!!!

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL JUST GOT EVEN BETTER!!!    Those of us who have already purchased tickets to the UK's most Metal event of 2013, have just been dealt another reason to throw the horns and mosh around our living rooms with excitement. Those among us who haven't yet purchased entry to the Metal Metropolis that is Download Festival, were given a further nudge into doing so last night. So what has caused this new wave of excitement regarding Download Festival you may ask? Another life changing line up announcement is what.    Although a majority of us Downloaders were eagerly sitting in front of our computer screens at 6 pm last night, overwhelmed with excitement and anticipation of who could be confirmed in the announcement, those who weren't able to see the announcement first hand wouldn't have had to wait long to hear the news. The news of which surely disappointed no-one. Even the keyboard warriors would have had series difficulty finding fault in the latest batch
