  If you know anything about Six Feet Under, then you probably already know what you are getting with Crypt Of The Devil. This album is the embodiment of Death-Metal done the right way. It's extreme, packed with melodic riffs, gruesome lyrics and Chris Barnes iconic vocal mastery, and is without a doubt Six Feet Under's most consistent and brilliant album to date.
   For the eleventh full length studio album, Chris Barnes enlisted seasoned Metal expects; Phil Hall, Josh Hall and Brandon Ellis, known for their incredible Weed-themed Death-Metal band, Cannabis Corpse. The resulting album is something very special. Crypt Of The Devil is a genuinely enjoyable listen, from start to finish there is nothing but excellent musicianship and neck-cracking brutality. 
   Chris Barnes is no stranger to Death-growling vocals, but Crypt Of the Devil shows this pioneering man on top form. From staple cuts like "Gruesome" and "Stab", to melodic monoliths and chant worthy tracks "Open Coffin Orgy" and "The Night Bleeds", Chris' surprising clarity and guttural roars are nothing short of astounding. Musically, there is no surprising deviation from the old-school sound, and despite being the musicians first outing with Six Feet Under, they craft and maintain the bands iconic sound perfectly. 
   Overall, this is an album with a fresh and revitalising sound unlike anything Six Feet Under has previously produced. The production is clean and polished, but the songs themselves are more excellently grotesque and raw than any fan could ever ask for.

    Here's some no nonsense for ya. This album is about as hard as a bag full of limp dicks.Chris Barnes would have been better off making this a side project, but he is obviously trying to make a buck off the SFU name. With something that sounds nothing like Six feet Under. If your a fan, like me, or should I say was?, this album takes a shit in your ears. Steve Swanson should get in another band. Glad I didn't pay for this piece of garbage. Satans gotta be pissed, SFU put his name on this dirt that's been fucked by a hobo, which is what the name of the album should have been. I haven't been this disappointed in an album in while. I've listened to the two new SLaYER tracks, so I'm prepared for it to be shit.With SFU, they give you Open Coffin Orgy, wich resembles SFU, to trick you into thinking your getting a SFU album, but that's all you get.

      Take your hate, and stick it up your ass. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean other's won't. I'm proud to have purchased this record, and I recommend it to anyone that's a fan of SFU.

We have witnessed the return of some of the greatest pioneering acts Metal music has ever seen, as well as a succession of future legends solidifying their place within our realms. DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL JUST GOT EVEN BETTER!!!    Those of us who have already purchased tickets to the UK's most Metal event of 2013, have just been dealt another reason to throw the horns and mosh around our living rooms with excitement. Those among us who haven't yet purchased entry to the Metal Metropolis that is Download Festival, were given a further nudge into doing so last night.
